Unique in every sense, you'll fall in love with their silky soft and lightweight scarves!
Made of imported modal gauze with eyelash fringe along all sides, they are individually hand dyed by Fig & Bella in their Hudson Valley, NY studio.
They are the perfect lightweight accessory to complete any outfit. Great worn as a scarf, over the shoulders, or as a beach wrap, and still lightweight enough to keep in your bag and have unhand anytime you need them!

Modal gauze (Modal fabric is a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose. Modal is generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton because beech trees don't require much water to grow and therefore the production process uses about 10-20 times less water. Modal is a type of rayon fabric, but it is generally more durable than regular rayon and feels softer, like cotton)

THEIR STORY BEGINS WITH FABRIC.
From the serene beauty of New York's Hudson Valley comes Fig & Bella, a modern anthology of textiles, pillows, fragrance, & goods for the home. They are Andrew & Olivier, tying & dyeing from our studio in Clinton Corners, New York since 2010. Using the finest fibers of natural materials, they reinterpret traditional dyeing techniques using a modern color palette & abstract textures.
Subtle & casual for everyday, each of their scarves is unique. In addition to scarves, their Hudson Valley studio is where they also dye their collection of pillows, tablecloths, & home textiles.
